Standard Internal Pile Guide
GatorDock’s™ Standard Internal Pile Guides are made from structural aluminum bars with bracing and gussets that fully integrate the guide into the welded aluminum dock frame, ensuring a smooth distribution of mooring forces when you need them most. Combine this construction method with heavy duty UHMW rollers standard on all four sides, and you can choose virtually any shape, size, and type of piling including our TimberGuard™ or UltraComposite™ products.
Standard External Pile Guide
A bolted D-ring hoop with a UHMW polyethylene roller attached to the side of the aluminum frame is the standard option for all of our floating docks. This two-piece assembly allows for easy field installation whether you are driving piles before or after placing your docks. Additionally, the hoop can be padded with its own UHMW wearing strip to minimize dock travel and wear. These hoop style pile guides work best with round piling such as our TimberGuard™ or UltraComposite™ products.
Custom External Pile Guide
No two dock systems are the same, so there’s no need to force that square peg into a round hole. 4-roller external guides as shown, 6- or 8-roller guides for extended guides, solid bearing pads, or spud guides for small diameter pipes are just a few of the custom fabricated options we have provided. Let us use our decades of experience to provide the anchoring solution you need. Speak to a Gator Representative to find out more.
Custom Internal Pile Guide
Need your rollers mounted above the deck for easy access? How about an integrated ADA toe curb around the guide opening for safety? GatorDock’s™ internal pile guides can be easily altered to get the finished look you want without sacrificing the structural performance you need. Other
If your project does not allow the use of traditional piling, we can fabricate a variety of other anchoring systems to your design. Some common alternative solutions we have provided are Strong Arms (shown) that pin the dock to a shore mounted anchor, as well as dock anchor points to accommodate SeaFlex, wire cables, or chains that are anchored to helical or block anchors, ensuring your dock can rise and fall with the tide while remaining securely in place.
